Love, hope, empty wishes strewn across the lawn
It's okay, I'll forget it, I'm moving on.
Hard, rock, heavy metal- is good for those days.
Those minutes comprising to hours
Of unending violent ways.
Those few seconds where the silence exists between one song 'n another
Fills the ears with anguish, agony
As anger and bitterness hover.
On those days, I go outside
You'll find me on my swing,
Listening to loud, melodious tunes
Where from the angry roar, I hide
If only for a little while
I sit upon my swing
Listening to that special silence
My music comes to bring
